Our Story
The Salt Cave
Our salt cave is man-made — a recreation of the natural environmental conditions of an underground salt mine. This tradition of salt therapy originated in Eastern Europe, where salt caves have long been enjoyed as peaceful places of rest and retreat.
The first dedicated salt rooms opened in Poland in 1843, inspired by the naturally restful atmosphere of the region's salt mines. The appeal of salt reaches back even further — as far as 460 B.C. and the era of Hippocrates — when it was prized across ancient cultures.
Today, Serenity Salt Cave & Spa carries on this time-honored tradition, offering a serene Himalayan salt environment where guests can breathe deeply, relax, and unwind.
